Group Classes

Life Skills for Adolescents is for dogs who have completed our Life Skills for Puppies class. Class builds on previously learned behaviors and introduces new skills like go to bed, wait at doorways, trade, stay, and more.

Life Skills Level 1 is a beginner level class for dogs new to training or our classes. Class covers basic skills like sit, down, recall, loose leash walking, etc. and includes an orientation where we discuss how dogs learn, how to address undesirable behaviors, how to meet our dogs need, and more.

Life Skills Level 2 is for teams who have completed either of the above classes and want to take their training to the next level by incorporating additional distraction, distance, and duration. Class includes individualized coaching based on where your team is in the training process.

Classes are held at Fido’s for Freedom in Laurel, MD on Tuesdays and limited to 6 teams.
